Yr2 'Holidays from the Past'

Visiting seaside holiday destinations, the children explored how holidays and pastimes have changed since the 1930s in a session filled with holiday fun. The children went on imaginary journeys to visit seaside holiday destinations, meeting Punch and Judy, learning what holidays meant during wartime in the 1940s, exploring seaside activities in 1950s, and taking a trip to the Butlin's summer camps of the 1970s.
