We’ve only got one week to go until the Easter holiday and our school is set to get very busy in the countdown to Easter. On Monday, our pupils in Years 3, 4 and 5 will perform their dress rehearsal for the rest of our school. They will then perform their Easter Production for parents, carers and family members on Tuesday 27th March (please see further details below). The following day we will be holding our second No Pens Wednesday event and the whole school will be walking to Church to celebrate our End of Term Mass. Please let your child’s class teacher know if you are able to help walk with the children to and from Church (we will be leaving school just after 9am).
Kurling Competition Results A group of Year 6 pupils travelled to Pield Heath Catholic School, on Tuesday, to represent our school at the Inclusive New Age Kurling Competition. We are delighted to announce that out of the eleven schools who took part we came 2nd overall. A fabulous achievement – well done to all the children who took part (their behaviour and enthusiasm was a credit to our school)!
Years 3 to 5 Easter Production Years 3, 4 and 5 will perform their Easter Production for parents, carers and family members on Tuesday 27th March at 2.30pm and then again at 6pm. ALL children in Years 3 to 5 are expected to be present for both performances, if for any reason your child can not attend, please write a note to their class teacher explaining the reasons as soon as possible. Thank you in advance.
Mrs Sullivan’s Early Bird Group Reminder: The last session for this term will take place tomorrow morning. This includes both her RM Easimaths group and her Nessy Touch Typing children. A revised group of children will be invited to attend after the Easter holiday.
No Pens Wednesday Our pupils are very much looking forward to next week’s No Pens Wednesday – a day free from the use of pens and pencils. Instead our teachers have planned lots of fun tasks promoting good speech, language and communication skills. We held our first event last term and activities included debates, performance poetry, drama and news broadcasts filmed on iPads and shown on classroom Apple TVs.

Congratulations to all the year 3 and 4 children who represented Hillingdon at the London Youth Games Tag Rugby event last week. All the children played really well against mostly year 5 and 6 children from other Boroughs. The children won 7 out of the 8 games they played and thoroughly enjoyed the day
Games Needed
Mrs Wall (our Year 2 teaching assistant) would appreciate any donations of unwanted games. She is particularly looking for interactive games to develop pupils’ speech and language development. This may include hands-on games such as KerPlunk, Buckaroo, Pop-up Pirate, Monkey Business, Marble Run or Shark Attack. Please send any donations into school via your child or hand them to an adult at the front entrance before school.

Last Day of Term – Nursery Combined
We break up for Easter next Thursday 29th March - at the earlier time of 1.30pm. Please make sure arrangements are in place for your child/children to be picked up at the earlier time. As we are closed in the afternoon, all Nursery pupils should attend the morning session on this day (from 8.30am until 11.30am). Pupils return to school on Monday 16th April. We hope you have a safe and restful break.
