Year 5 enjoy trip to London Zoo!
Year 6 Leavers’ Mass
Thank you to all the parents who escorted pupils to and from Church on Tuesday. Visits like this wouldn’t be possible without your help – thanks again.
End of Term Mass
All pupils, from Upper Early Years to Year 6, will be visiting Church again on Tuesday to celebrate the end of this academic year. All parents, carers and family members are most welcome to attend - the mass will start at 9.30am. We require as many parent helpers as possible - please let your child’s class teacher know if you are able to assist.
Year 6 Leavers’ Assembly/Production
Next Monday 20th July, Year 6 will be performing their production of Bugsy Malone to the whole school. We will open up the front entrance, shortly before 2pm, for all visitors to make their way to the school hall.
Annual Pupil Progress Reports
On Monday, all pupils will bring home their end of year Annual Pupil Progress Reports. This will include details of their latest assessment results. These results have been used to set targets and support for the Autumn Term. We will be holding Parents’ Evenings in the first few weeks after the summer break to discuss the intervention planned. We will also be holding meetings in September to explain more about the new curriculum and how your child will be assessed without the use of Levels.
September meals price increase
We have just been informed by our caterers that unfortunately from September 2015 the price for lunches will increase by 6p, meaning that each meal will now cost £2.26, rather than the current price of £2.20. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
NSPCC fundraising
We would like to say a huge well done to all of the children who helped to raise an incredible grand total of £3259.49 for the NSPCC. The NSPCC are very grateful for the donation and it is wonderful to see such hard work going into helping a good cause.
End of Year Arrangements
Nursery (LEYs) pupils will finish for the summer break on Monday 20th July (usual time).
All other pupils will finish on Tuesday 21st July – at the earlier time of 1.30pm. Pupils return to school on Wednesday 2nd September. Please visit our website for details of term dates for the next academic year: http://www.st-marys.hillingdon.sch.uk/
We hope you, and your family, have a lovely summer break!
