Christmas Lunch Orders to be placed, by noon, on Tues 8th Dec

Parents’ Open Evenings

After Christmas, we will be holding our Parents’ Evenings on Tuesday 12th and Thursday 14th January.

This will be an opportunity to discuss your child’s latest test results (taken from this week’s Test Week) and to share planned targets and support for next term. A separate letter inviting you to request an appointment time will be sent out in early January.

For more information about ‘Assessment without Levels’ please visit our website:

Pavilions Carol Concert

This year’s concert will take place next Tuesday 8th December, at 6pm. All of our Year 6 pupils have been invited to attend (to lead the singing) and those children taking part need to arrive at the Market Square area, at 5.25pm. The concert is scheduled to finish between 6.45 and 7pm.

Book Fair

The Scholastic Book Fair will be taking place in our school hall next Monday 7th and Thursday 10th December (from 3.30pm). For every book sold, the school is able to claim another book up to the same value. Please remember to bring some money after school, if you would like to purchase any books (unfortunately we are unable to take cheques or credit card payments).

Christmas Productions

Our Key Stage 1 and 2 productions will take place at the following times:

Upper Early Years and Key Stage 1 (Yrs 1 and 2)

Wednesday 9th December, at 2pm and 6pm

Key Stage 2 (Years 3, 4 and 5)

Wednesday 16th December, at 2pm and 6pm

It is expected that all pupils will attend their evening performance. If your child is unable to take part for any reason, please let their class teacher know as soon as possible. For the evening performance pupils should arrive at school between 5.30pm and 5.45pm (to get changed/ready for the production).

Christmas Lunch

The children will be having their Christmas Lunch on Tuesday 15th December.  Orders will need to be placed by noon on Tuesday 8th December.  Thank you.

Christmas Carol Service and Church Fair

We would like to invite all parents, pupils and family members to join us at our Carol Service, in Church, on Thursday 17th December (at 6pm). The service will be followed by our Christmas Fair in the Church hall which will include refreshments (mulled wine, hot chocolate, mince pies), Christmas arts and crafts, a raffle, tombola and the chance to meet St. Nicholas. We hope to see you there!

We still need lots of volunteers to help, both on and prior to the evening. If you’re able to spare some time (even if it’s just an hour or two) please email: stmaryspta@outlook.com

Lower Early Years (Nursery) Production

This will take place on Friday 11th December, at 10.30am. All nursery pupils should attend the morning session on this day.  Please check the “calendar events” on the website and the notice on the nursery door for other combined session dates.

Consultation of 2017/18 Admissions Policy

The Admissions Policy went out for consultation this week to Hillingdon Schools and Nurseries and to neighbouring Buckinghamshire Schools and Nurseries.  We are required to do this every few years.  The documents can be viewed on the website by visiting the link below.  You will also see the data showing applications for our over-subscribed Upper Early Years (Reception) class over the last five years.
