Mrs Sullivan’s RM Easimaths Group - CANCELLED

Due to arrangements for the Year 6 SATs, there will be no Early Bird Maths Group throughout next week. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

No Gymnastics Clubs

Similarly, as the Hall is being used for our Year 6 Breakfast Club, there will be no gymnastics clubs taking place next week.

Year 5’s Assembly

Year 5 performed their assembly for parents, and the whole school, this week - teaching us lots of interesting facts about the Mayans.

Thank you to all the visitors who came along to watch.

Year 1 Class Assembly

Year 1’s Class Assembly will take place on Tuesday 17th May. All parents, carers and family members are most welcome to attend. The front entrance to school will be opened up, by a member of staff, shortly before 3pm.

Sainsbury’s Active Kids Vouchers

Sainsbury’s issued their last ‘Active Kids’ vouchers on Tuesday. If you have any vouchers lying around at home, and you would like to donate them to school, please bring them in by the end of next week. The more vouchers we collect, the more games/sports equipment we can purchase for the children to use. Thank you in advance.

Puzzles with Parents Afternoon

During the afternoon of Monday 23rd May, all classes from Reception (UEYs) to Year 6, will be involved in lots of fun/interactive puzzles and investigations. We are inviting all parents/carers to come into school, from 2.15pm, to see what the children are doing. At 3pm, we will be serving refreshments in the hall and there will be the opportunity to view some of the maths resources we use in each class. A letter will be sent home with further details nearer the time.

Non-Uniform Day

Next Friday 13th May, we will be holding a Non-Uniform Day in school. In return for wearing their own clothes, we ask that all pupils bring in a voluntary donation of £1 which will be sent to the Ecuador Earthquake Appeal.

Donations of Boxes of Tissues

We again would also like to ask for donations of boxes of tissues for the classes.  We are most grateful for your support.  Thank you to those who donated bags of compost for our gardening projects and would be most grateful if anyone has any more that would be put to good use for growing produce and sunflowers at school.
