This week has been another busy one in school. Thank you to everybody who attended our Book Fair at the start of the week – as a result of the books sold, we have been able to claim lots of free books for use in our classrooms and library. On Tuesday we were visited by a representative from the Pavilions Shopping Centre who entertained the whole school with a special assembly including carols and Christmas songs. Later in the day, our Year 5 pupils represented our school at the Pavilions Carol Concert - they performed and sang brilliantly and once again their behavior was a credit to our school. On Wednesday, Year 6 attended the Christmas Carol Concert at Westminster Cathedral. They were joined by schools from across the Westminster Diocese and the event helped to raise money for the Catholic Children’s Society. We have another few busy weeks ahead – please take a look at the dates below for some of the events we have planned for the lead up to Christmas.

Christmas Fayre

A big thank you to everybody who made last week’s Christmas Fayre such a success. A huge amount of hard work and preparation went into organising the evening including buying supplies, sourcing prizes, setting up stalls, decorating the hall, manning the stalls, tidying up afterwards and making Santa’s Grotto look as fabulous as it did. Events like this would be possible without the excellent support we get from our family members – thanks again!

Years 1 and 2 Christmas Production

This will take place next Wednesday 14^th December, at 2pm and 6pm. All KS1 pupils are expected to attend the evening performance and should return to school between 5.30 and 5.45pm. We ask that parents/carers drop their children off at their classroom door before making their way to the school hall to watch the production.

Mrs Owen’s Year 6 Kent Group

The last session, for this term, will take place on Friday 16^th December.

Early Years – Christmas Play

This will take place next Friday 16^th December, at 2pm. All parents, carers and family members are most welcome to attend. To enable all Early Years pupils to take part - all Nursery pupils should attend the afternoon session on this day. Thank you.

Christmas Carol Service

We would like to invite all family members to attend our Carol Service on Tuesday 20^th December, at 4pm, in our Church. As in previous years our Year 6 pupils will lead the singing and perform scenes from the Nativity story.
