Thursday 16th March 2017
The children have been busy this week completing various maths, reading, grammar, punctuation and spelling tests. Each teacher will analyse the results and plan appropriate targets and support for next term.
We will be holding our Parents’ Evenings on Tuesday 21st and Thursday 23rd March (both from 3.40 until 6pm) providing parents with an opportunity to discuss their child’s results.
As a part of our RE curriculum we are required to study a different faith. Throughout next week we will be celebrating our Hinduism Week in school. Each class will be finding out more about Hindu beliefs and how the scriptures guide them in their daily life. On Monday; Years 1, 2 and 6 will visit a Hindu temple (the Mandir) near Wembley to find out more about their communal place of worship.
Years 3, 4 and 5 Easter Production
This will take place on Tuesday 28th March, at 2pm and 6pm – all parents, carers and family members are most welcome to attend. It is expected that all pupils in Years 3 to 5 will attend the evening performance (please let your child’s class teacher know if there is any reason why this is not possible).
Early Years – Church Visit
Next Friday afternoon, our Early Years pupils will visit Church to find out more about the different Stations of the Cross. If you are able to help accompany the children on this visit, please let your child’s class teacher know – both classes will be leaving school just before 1.15pm. Thank you in advance.
Rainbow Day
There will be a non-uniform day on Monday 27th March in support of Early Years’ Charity: The Rainbow Trust. Children can come to school dressed in the colours of the rainbow. We are asking for £1 donation for the Charity.
