We are pleased to announce that we were awarded the History Quality Mark, Gold Award, in 2022. This is an award that recognises the excellence of history provision in a school. The Quality Mark provides a framework for success in which to develop outstanding provision. There is a quality assured framework for a school working to achieve the Quality mark to follow, with a clear assessment procedure delivered by independent Historical Association appointed assessors.

The final section of the assessment report reads:

'Most of all thanks go to the pupils I met during my visit who clearly love history and are excellent champions for the subject.'
