PSHE

As a school, we follow the PSHE Jigsaw Mindfulness scheme.

Curriculum Aims:

PSHE is the study of personal, social, health and economic education. It is an essential part of the school curriculum as it enables children to become healthy, independent and responsible members of society. We encourage our pupils to play a positive role in contributing to the life of the school and the wider community, and in doing so we aim to develop their sense of self-worth and self-confidence.

How is the curriculum planned:

As a school, we follow the PSHE Jigsaw scheme. Designed as a whole-school approach, Jigsaw PSHE / Health and Well-being provides a detailed and comprehensive scheme of learning.

Jigsaw is a unique, spiral, progressive and effective scheme of work, aiming to prepare children/young people for life, helping them really know and value who they are and understand how they relate to other people in this ever-changing world.
