Remembrance (Armistice) Day 2021
Armistice Day (also known as Remembrance Day) marks the day WW1 ended, at 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month, in 1918. This year, all pupils took part in assemblies, a 2 minute silence and various other activities to mark this occasion. Our Year 6 pupils made small wooden crosses with a message to somebody who had died in WW1 or WW2. They walked to Uxbridge town centre and placed these at the foot of the war memorial.
