Dear parent/carer,

What an exciting week it’s been for our children! All classes have enjoyed finding out more about owls and they have completed various cross-curricular activities as a part of our Owl Week. The highlight of the celebrations was our owl demonstrations that took place this morning.

Thank you to all the parents/carers who have made an appointment for one of our Parents’ Evenings. The first meetings took place on Tuesday and we have further appointments scheduled for tonight.

If you visited the office yesterday afternoon, you might have been greeted by the sound of ‘he’s behind you’! We were lucky enough to be visited by a travelling theatre company who performed their pantomime Aladdin for the whole school.

We have lots of other events planned for this term – please take the time to have a look at the diary dates below.

Early Bird Group

Reminder: Mrs Sullivan’s new Early Bird Group (this includes the RM Easimaths and Touch Typing programmes) will start next Monday 22nd January. Mrs Sullivan will open up the front entrance at 8.30am (any child arriving late for this group will need to wait until 8.40am before coming into school).

Fundraising for the School

We are arranging a clothing collection to raise funds for the school for after half term.  At the moment we have very little storage space and would ask that if you have any unwanted clothing you could store them for us. The clothes collection bags will be sent out week beginning 5th February and we ask if these can be brought into school on Monday 19th February as these will be collected on the Tuesday. We thank you in anticipation of receiving lots of bags of unwanted clothing, linens, shoes, bags and belts to raise money.
